On projects of massive and complex scale we work with external colleagues to produce 3D Swept Path images of our more intricate manoeuvre's. Where necessary we have 3D LIDAR surveys of streets and bridge structures conducted to overlay into the Swept Path and have exact measurements for the locations of signs etc.
These external partners also help us to provide structural analysis for bridge HB loading analysis, full structural analysis and 3D modeling. The 3D model can then be used to generate loading models based off the 3D structures elasticity as the load transfers over the structure. They also provide pre and post inspections of structures to produce the evidence required for councils etc to allow transports of such scale to safely occur.
Further they can produce HD video footage of the route into site to provide a pre and post road condition surveys.
This analysis can provide customers with the reassurance that they require that the transport will be conducted safely. The customers can then also visualise the execution of the project.
